This is where I’ve been.

…Thanks for being along for the ride. (A brief update, for paid subscribers in particular)

Hey, friends and readers. There are lots of actual, serious, frightening things happening in the actual, serious, frightening world right now, and this is a short personal post that isn’t about any of them. Actual content about these Unprecedented Times We Live In (although I dunno about you, but it seems like the times are getting a bit too damn precedented for plausible deniability) is on its way.

This will be brief, but I wanted to say, to everyone who supports me, on here and elsewhere- thank you, thank you, thank you unbelievably massively for your patience lately while I’ve been getting my head back together. Thank you for waiting for me, while I’ve been less productive than I’d planned and promised to be, for reasons that were beyond my control.

I’ve spent several weeks with my head firmly ensconced up my own backside, and I return having seen basically all there is to see up there, most of it irrelevant in wartime. That’s me trying to be cute about the fact that the misogynist, transphobic media monstering over my book took its toll this time.
