I know that some of you are expecting me to make a statement about what’s been reported in New York Magazine. That will happen. This isn’t it.
Right now, I’m too shocked and angry to think clearly. Right now, I’m concentrating- as I have been for months- on supporting people dear to me who are directly impacted by this devastating situation. We all need time and privacy to process this together.
In the meantime, please don’t pressure anyone to speak about it in public before they are ready-including friends, family and those who have already been brave enough to share their stories.
Those women deserve our support and solidarity. I salute them. I believe them.
My sympathies are with them and with everyone who is suffering as a result of this awful news.
If you are one of the many, many readers and fans of Neil Gaiman or Amanda Palmer feeling confused and betrayed, that includes you.
What’s been reported? I’m totally out of the loop here.
